Fans of Blizzard’s mega popular collectible card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft may not have to wait much longer for the highly anticipated Curse of Naxxramas expansion. In a post on the official Hearthstone forums community manager Aratil mentioned that Blizzard is currently aiming for a July release date. He warned however that Blizzard “still [has] a lot of implementing and bug fixing to get through” though, but mentioned in the same post that the company is targeting a July 1st announcement that will finally reveal the price for each wing in the expansion.
Curse of Naxxramas will bring 30 new cards in total to the game and a new player verse environment (PvE) game mode along with it. Gamers will have to battle through five wings facing off against the famous bosses from the World of Warcraft raid, Naxxramas. After defeating each boss players will be rewarded with a new card and after defeating every boss in a wing players will rewarded with a new legendary card. Along with defeating bosses and wings there will be class specific challenges, with new class specific cards as the reward.
The first wing of Naxxaramas will be free but the remaining wings will need to be purchased with either real world money or in game gold. Make sure to check back on July 1st in order to know exactly how much gold you will need to save up or how much money it will cost you per wing.
